John Dimitroulas joined the company in 1999, was promoted to the position of Contracts Manager in 2000 and promoted again in 2002 to one of the two newly created senior positions as Team Manager for the Sydney Southern Division, reporting directly to the Managing Director.

He holds a Bachelor of Building from the University of New South Wales, and is a Quality Assurance Auditor and Safety System Auditor.

Some of his successful projects include:-

  • Madsen Building Upgrade ($9m) - Total Upgrade and Refurbishment of 5 level Heritage Building to house the School of Geo-Science, Electron Microscopic Unit and Chemistry Department for the University. 
  • Endeavour Sports Multi-purpose Sports Centre and Carpark ($2m) - Design and Construction of Multi-purpose Sports Centre and Carpark
  • Palm Grove Darling Harbour ($2m) - Light civil works including paving and elevated performance structure for new performance area.
  • Jordan Line 'Live in Accomodation' Refurbishment ($3.2m) - refurbishment of the Jordan Lines Live- In Accommodation facilities and a new 4000 sq metre asphalt car park.
  • Upgrade of Stanton Road Industrial Estate, Seven Hills ($3.2m).  The project included the removal of asbestos and raising of the structural roofs on the four Warehouse / factory units, new roofs, replacing the facades, fire rating the structural elements and total refurbishment of services and interiors.
  • 2006 MBA Award Winning Blakehurst Public School ($5m).  Refurbishment of existing buildings & construction of new home bases.
  • Artarmon "Kids Cottage" (Community Centre/ Child Care Centre)- a new 3 storey childcare and leisure/community centre, including lift, ramps, underground car park & landscaping.
  • New C21 Construction Regiment Barracks, Holsworthy Army Base ($2.6m).  Upgrade and refurbishment of existing on-site buildings and the relocation of demountable buildings from various Dept of Defence sites to Holsworthy site to establish new Army Barracks for Dept of Defence.
  • 2002 MBA Award Winning Avalon Recreation Centre for Pittwater Council ($2.8m).  The project included the construction of new 2 storey building including a library, recreation and child care facilities and council customer centre. The project was awarded the MBA Excellence in Construction Award for Public Buildings in 2002.
  • The $2m Refurbishment of 2 large Lecture Theatres called "Keith Burrows" and "Physics" Theatres at the University of New South Wales, Kensington Campus.
  • 2.5m Central Station Food Concourse Heritage Refurbishment, CountryLink Terminal.
  • $2.2m West Pennant Hills Community Centre including Child Care Facility, Community Hall and Administration Building.

Prior to joining Brisland John was a Project/Contracts Administrator at Regency Development (Aust) on the Cape Cabarita $25 million Project; Bona Building Pty Ltd on projects up to $10 million; and Estimator / Contract Administrator at Artden Pty Ltd.
