Brisland wins Williamtown RAAF Base Medical and Dental Facility project

Brisland's most recent Department of Defence project is the refurbishment and construction of the 2 Air Transport Health Squadron (2ATHS) Medical and Dental Facilities at the RAAF base, Williamtown. The base is home to the RAAF Air Combat Group and is the major RAAF fast jet base in Australia. Located fifteen kilometres north of Newcastle, the base has a total population of approximately 3000 military and civilian personnel.

Both buildings were constructed more than 20 years ago and neither have had any major refurbishment since construction. Works include internal refurbishment and alterations as well as construction of 400 square metres of additional floor space. The proposed works will be staged to ensure that the facilities remain operational throughout the progression of the works.
