Brisland's Quality Policy

The Brisland Group provides a range of construction services for Government departments, institutions, public and private companies and individuals. The nature of the services provided by BRISLAND places particular emphasis on service, expertise, experience, reliability, quality and professionalism. Brisland supports the ethical principles enunciated in the NSW Government's Code of Practice for the Construction Industry.

The Company aims to provide services which fully satisfy the needs of clients in a manner which conforms to contractual, regulatory and ethical requirements, while providing an adequate return to shareholders of the Company. This objective is achieved through the employment of suitably trained and qualified staff, the use of appropriate equipment and technology and the maintenance of a corporate management strategy which provides a sound framework within which the activities of the company may be conducted.

To ensure that client requirements are satisfied, it is the policy of Brisland to establish and maintain an effective Quality System, planned and developed in conjunction with all management functions including Management of Human Resources, OHS, Injury Management, Environmental Management and Industrial Relations Management.

Verification of conformance of products and services with client requirements and with contractual and regulatory requirements is achieved on the basis of objective evidence of quality. The Brisland Quality System is designed to satisfy the requirements of the Australian Standard AS/NZS ISO 9001:2000, Quality Systems for Design Management, Construction, Refurbishment and Project Management Services.

This policy is issued to clearly indicate the attitude of the Company towards Quality Management. The Managing Director recognises that commitment to quality at all levels is essential to the long-term success of the Company. The Quality Manual describes the philosophy behind the Brisland Quality System and how the objectives of the Company towards quality will be achieved. All staff are required to adhere to the Policy and are provided with training in the use of the Quality System.
