Quality Assurance
Brisland Pty. Ltd. has been Third Party Certified for Quality Assurance to ISO AS/NZS 9001:2001 for Design, Construction, Refurbishment and Project Management Services. This accreditation means we can offer a full range of Design and Construct facilities.
Quality Assurance is implemented on all of Brisland's projects. Our Quality Procedures are the standard procedures for all our operations, therefore all employees are fully conversant with Q.A. as it forms part of our day-to-day activities. The implementation and adherence to our systems assisted Brisland Pty Ltd to achieve accreditation to the Department of Commerce Best Practice Scheme.

OHS
A Corporate Occupational Health & Safety Business System and our Safety Procedures are contained within our Business System. Brisland's Corporate Safety System is based on the New South Wales Government's OHS Management System Guidelines. Brisland's System was Third Party accredited by the Building Industry Council of Australia for Projects over $3 million in October 2000. It is certified to AS/NZS 4801:2001.
Our OHS Policy
Environmental Management
Brisland gained accreditation for our Corporate Environmental Management System to the NSW Environmental Management System Guidelines (November 1998) from the NSW Government Construction Agency Coordination Committee in 2004. The Environmental System has been part of our Business System since early 2000. Brisland's EMS applies to all aspects of the work environment, specifically on projects over $3 million, and/or where it is determined that the construction process creates a threat to the environment. It is also implemented on projects where clients or Brisland's management specifically requests the implementation of the EMS, or if the project is a heritage/conservation project. Brisland's EMS system was written to comply with the NSW Government Environmental Management Systems Guidelines.
Brisland's Management realises that the environment and control of environmental issues is one of the most critical responsibilities that we have today. Brisland has achieved accreditation to ISO AS/NZS 14001:2004.

Pre-qualifications
We are on pre-qualified lists for the Department of Commerce for Construct only and Design & Construct and DMM (Defence Maintenance Management).
Brisland has been selected and accredited as one of a small number of contractors as a NSW Best Practice Contractor for the Department of Commerce NSW for Government Projects up to $10m. |
